driving lessons!!

Our class got to go on a trip to the Leinster school of driving and we all got a turn to learn how to drive in a car!! First though we split our class in half and half went to drive and the rest of us went to do a theory quiz which was quite fun. We got to make up our own meanings for road signs in a group. In my group there was me, Ella and Hannah we won with our meaning of the road sign but it was actually really offensive hahahaha.
It was then our turn to drive. Me, Ella and Hannah were in a car together and our instructor was really nice and so funny. Each of us kept making mistakes and he gave us nicknames. For example he called me 'Buckaroo Chloe' because I crashed the car into a bush :)(: but after that I did ok :))
Overall it was a very good and eventful day!!!

speed dating xx

Last Friday the two french classes in the year travelled off to saletians to do french speed dating. Everyone was abit nervous incase we made absolute fools of ourselves in front of all the boys but luckily no one did and we all found it really fun.

When we arrived we went into a little hall and we sat two at each table. It was really good to see people that you knew and we also got refreshments such as pringles, jelly beans and smarties and dinksss so that was fab. 

At the end we all got in a cute pic which ill try to upload here if i can find it!!

briery gap!!

Tomorrow our whole year is travelling to Mullingar to compete in the Briery Gap competition. Each of our classes are performing dramas which we have been working on for the past few months so hopefully all the work will pay off and we'll all get to go to the final in Cork :)) Myself, Meadhbh and Hannah have been working on the costume for a while now and it is nearly all sorted for tomorrow hopefully!! thats all for now

new blog challenge :))

Our I.T teacher Ms.Ward has asked us to take on another exciting blog challenge. As the Oscars are coming up our teacher has asked us to take a trip to the cinema to watch one of the nominated movies and to then write a review of it on our blog. I'm excited to do this challenge because I really really like watching movies!!

young scientist!!

Last Thursday all tys and second years went to the RDS to the BT young scientist exhibition. On the bus saz creavo brought her really good speaker so we had some bopping tunes to keep us entertained. We got to the exhibition and we went on a walk to look at some of the projects. Some were very interesting. We then went to get food and we made friends with people from Carlow and we got to talk to them for a while. After food, we visited sadbhs primary school friends project on 'A Greener Tee' :))
